Chicago really does have it all.  The city has so much going on before, during and after Independence Day, so come spend a few summer days experiencing it all.  The Windy City is one of the best places to enjoy 4th of July Fireworks.  Then comes “Taste of Chicago 2013”.  It is the nation’s largest outdoor food festival with hundreds of local vendors, live entertainment and music, and hosts nearly 3 million visitors.  It will take place in Grant Park (on the city’s magnificent lakefront) between Monroe Ave. and Balbo Drive from July 10th-14th from 11am to 9pm.  While you’re there, you can also stop in to the Art Institute of Chicago – a must-see cultural gem for visitors and Chicagoans alike.

Don’t forget about Venetian Night – an authentic Chicago specialty!  With an unconfirmed date of August 4th, 2013, the night boasts a spectacular boat parade and fireworks display along Lake Michigan.  People flock to secure their spots along the shore in the early morning to relax and enjoy the glimmering lights of the evening.  Come party on the lake and experience what some consider to be one of Chicago’s great summer traditions.

Also in August is The Chicago Air and Water Show  – the largest “free” air and water exhibition in the United States.  You can view the show from Fullerton to Oak St. (North Avenue Beach is the focal point).  This year marks the 55th anniversary of daredevil thrills in the air and on the water of Lake Michigan.  It will run on August 17th and 18th from 10am to 3pm.

If you don’t want to miss all the fun events coming up this summer and require transportation around this great city, Transport Limo will be your guide.
